For the second year, AgTech Ireland hosted the AgTech Ireland Village at the Teagasc Grange Beef Open Day on 2nd July 2026. The event at Teagasc Grange, Co. Meath, brings together thousands of beef farmers, advisors, researchers and industry to look at the latest Teagasc research and best sustainable practice in beef production, and discuss some of the sector’s challenges.
Thirteen member companies ran their own stands within the Village:
• Cycle0
• Dairypower
• Easyfix
• ForceField
• FRS Co-op
• Germinal
• Greenhill Systems
• GyPSy
• Herdwatch
• Local Power
• Moonsyst
• Mullinahone
• Reap Interactive
Having the companies grouped together, yet outside a marquee, gave visitors one place to see a range of agtech solutions for beef farms. Having the circuit of the Open Day run straight through the Village was a huge plus. With good weather, the stands were easier to see and to reach, and they drew a steady flow of visitors throughout the day.
The quality of the conversations with farmers stood out. Visitors wanted to talk about practical challenges on their farms and about how technology could help. Many of these conversations were detailed and practical, and exhibitors expect a good number of them to turn into solid leads.
Exhibition opportunities like the Teagasc Grange Open Day are an important part of AgTech Ireland’s work. They put member companies in direct contact with farmers and help make sure agtech solutions address real needs on farms. Thanks to Teagasc for hosting another well-run event, to the member companies who exhibited in the Village, and to everyone who came to visit.
