Our Mission
Member-led since 2021
AgTech Ireland is funded and guided by its member companies, ensuring the sector’s priorities shape our work.
Championing agtech
As a registered lobbying body, we advocate for the essential role of agtech in enabling smarter, more profitable, resource-efficient and climate-efficient farming.
Influencing policy
We maintain regular engagement with politicians and government officials to highlight the opportunities agtech offers for Irish agriculture and the wider economy, as well as the policy challenges facing the sector.
Representing the sector
We liaise with government departments—particularly Agriculture and Enterprise—as well as state agencies such as Enterprise Ireland and ISIF, and research partners from universities to Teagasc.
Showcasing innovation
We provide exhibition opportunities, including collaborations with Teagasc at specialised events, to promote member technologies.
Creating connections
We organise conferences, fact-finding missions, information briefings and networking events that support member growth and collaboration.
Supporting members
We share industry insights and facilitate access to relevant events and opportunities across the agtech ecosystem.
Building global links
We engage with international organisations such as AgriTech New Zealand, La Ferme Digitale and other global agtech networks to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange.
