Forcefield has been in existence since 1981, our primary business is manufacturing electric fence systems. Over the years Forcefield has broadened its portfolio outside of electric fencing to include other Agri Hardware products such as Workwear, Calf Care, Strainrite Fencing Tools, Rodent Control, Lighting and much more. We are headquartered in County Clare and from there we distribute our products to hundreds of agri stores throughout Ireland.
Forcefield Active in AgTech
Forcefield design and manufacture a range of battery, mains and solar powered electric fence energisers which power electric fence systems used to contain all types of livestock. We also supply accessories to complete the electric fence system and manufacture an electronic pet containment system.
Our head office and European distribution centre is based in Cratloe Co. Clare along with our Research & Development Department which has the capability of designing innovative energiser solutions for our clients. This coupled with our state of the art manufacturing facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia gives us the flexibility to cater for high volume or smaller bespoke orders.
Innovation in AgTech
Forcefield have always been to the forefront of innovation in electric fencing and have a proud tradition of entering new products in the Innovation Arena at the National Ploughing Championships. Recently Forcefield won the Agri Technology Category in the Innovation Arena for their new range of energy efficient Battery Energisers which require approximately 30% less energy to operate. Forcefield also have a track record of investing in start up companies in the Agri Technology space. In 2023 they acquired Boundary Blade Ltd who had developed a patented electric fence tester/pocketknife combo tool which is now sold in over 20 countries.
Forcefield export to Asia, Australia, New Zealand, North America and Europe. As well as manufacturing our own branded units, Forcefield also manufacture under private label for many of the leading electric fencing brands in Europe & North America.
