Today, Mullinahone Co-op is Irelands’ leading supplier of official Animal Identification and Intelligence products, we are the number one distributer of Agri-essentials to Co-ops and Agri stores nationwide, and we are recognised as an innovative and trusted supplier of many leading brands of pet grooming supplies. Since 1985, the co-op has been producing a range of soft cheeses and yogurt from locally sourced grass-fed milk using traditional recipes and a made-to-order production process for use in international foodservice and manufacturing applications.
Animal Identification
Our animal identification business “Eurotags” is at the forefront of the development in official animal identification in Ireland since 1995. Our partnership with Allflex has built a strong business which is at the cutting edge of technology, helping to provide both visual and electronic identification options on Irish farms for cattle, sheep and pigs.
Livestock Identification
Our Livestock Identification and Intelligence business offers the latest technologies to farmers including EID identification and tissue sampling tags, EID readers, animal monitoring equipment and drafting gates, to name a few. Our highly skilled and expanding team are on hand to assist farmers in the implementation and uptake of these latest technologies.
Through our partnership with Allflex, we offer farmers a full range of SenseHub® technology including monitoring tags, collars, and drafting gates. Our technical advisors are on hand to guide farmers through the whole process from the initial survey of the farm to the installation of the collars/tags and a complete back up customer service aftercare is in place.
